How much does it cost to send my student to camp for a week?

What will my student be doing at Afilm Camp?

Wow! Now that is a loaded question! Let us give you an overview of the basics! 1. Your student will work with other students to CREATE a short film that they will be able to take home at the end of the week! 2. When they are not on set working with thte film crew they will go through stations designed to teach in a fun way the different aspects of the filmmaking process. 3. Most importantly they will be having FUN! Afilm Camp is HANDS ON! Your student will have a blast each week.



What if my child is camera shy?

Another great question. Wow you are on a roll! So here is the deal. We created Afilm Camp to provide an alternative experience for students that typically only have had a couple of options during the summer. We wanted to create a NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY camp that teaches students about film. Some students will want to be in front of the camera. Some studetns will want to work behind the scenes. We have thought of a FUN experience for ALL who want to participate. What we hope to see are students that come and discover hidden talents and skills that they will be able to take with them for the rest of their lives!

What does lunch & snacks look like?

Lunch will be catered by Newks & we allow our students several choices for lunch from hot sandwhiches, personal pizza, & chicken salad. We also offer snacks throughout the day ranging from cookies, chips, & apples. However, you are welcome to send lunch/snack in addtion to this if you would like, just let our staff know when you get to camp.



What ages are accepted at camp?

We are currently accepting students ages 6-17!



What time does camp operate?

Camp operates from 9-5pm on Mon=Fri. Dropoff begins at 8:30 & pickup last until 5:30. We can make drop off & pick up acceptions to accmodate but we try & stay with this model so your student can be dependable for important film needs as well as to make sure they get the full Afilm experience :)
